Did vaccines really eradicate polio?

Did vaccines really eradicate polio?

Not only has the oral polio vaccine (OPV) made the polio problem twice as bad but Bill Gates was responsible for a disaster in India that has certainly killed more Indian children than would have died from wild polio.

Some say that he was sued and expelled from India. Like all true stories they get exaggerated and then those exaggerations are used to discredit the underlying truth by Fact Checkers. This is what is being done by “India Today” who are trying to suggest that Bill Gates did not kill 47,500 Indian children because he was not sued or expelled from India.

It could be argued that Bill Gates was unaware of the dangers of the polio vaccine but his links to the vaccine industry and the WHO make that claim untenable.

The CDC show a graph confirming vaccine-associated polio cases occurred as far back as 1960 while almost all cases of polio in the US since 1973 were vaccine-associated.

In 1997, Hull and Aylward who are both with the Expanded Programme on Immunization, World Health Organization, responded to the question “reliance of the WHO on the live Sabin oral polio virus vaccine (OPV) means that there will be a continuing threat of release of potentially pathogenic virus into the environment” by saying that more studies will be undertaken.

In 1997 an article by Johnson published in the BMJ noted “the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued new guidelines for administering the polio vaccine after determining that nearly all cases of paralytic polio contracted recently in the country were caused by the oral polio vaccine.”

The CDC says there is no difference between wild polio and vaccine-derived polio and the OPV has not been used in the US since year 2000.

So the problem of the more virulent “vaccine-derived polio” was known from as far back as 1960s and the problem was understood to bring into question “how to end OPV.”

Therefore, it was common knowledge that the OPV was spreading vaccine-derived polio.

Many years later, a 2012 study by Vashisht was conducted by doctors from the Department of Paediatrics, St Stephens Hospital, Delhi. It explains that “Non-polio acute flaccid paralysis (NPAFP) is clinically indistinguishable from polio paralysis but twice as deadly”.

The study cites the tragedy that 47,500 children that contracted NPAFP and identified that the onset was “directly proportional to doses of oral polio received.”

It highlights the grant of just $ 0.02 billion from Pan American Health Organisation, that is funded by Bill and Melinda Gates, as the driving force that spurred India to become involved in the polio eradication idea even though polio wasn’t a priority for India, however, polio eradication was thought to be for world advancement.

A 2012 study by Rao published by the CDC, considering polio incidence rates, confirmed that NPAFP cases had risen dramatically during the time frame of the Bill Gates led vaccine campaign. It is noted that the number of NPAFP cases had risen from approximately 9,000 between 1998 and 2003 (average 1,800 per year) to a whopping 55,782 cases in 2010 and 60,883 cases in 2011. This represents a vast increase in incident rate of approximately 33 times as many cases.

Two years later, a 2014 study by Puliyel noted: “our observation showed positive association between NPAFP and the number of OPV doses”. The study calculates the increase of NPAFP cases as being approximately 10 times the expected cases. It also noted that the incidence rates of NPAFP only started to fall after “2012 with a decrease in the OPV doses” administered.

This fact is seen as “further corroborative evidence of a causative association between OPV doses and the NPAFP rate.”

A 2018 study by Dhiman confirmed that the number of NPAFP cases declined in correlation with the decline in the number of polio vaccines given.

This correlation between the reduction of vaccines given and the reduction of NPAFP cases observed “adds credence to the assumption that OPV was responsible for the change in the NPAFP rate. Now that India has been polio-free for over 6 years, we propose that we may be able to reduce NPAFP by further reducing pulse polio rounds.”

There can be no denying that the OPV is able to mutate to become a more virulent vaccine-derived polio virus.

Further confirmation of this can be found in reports by the World health organisation.

In the 2017 annual report on Syria, the WHO confirm that the attenuated OPV will mutate into a viable organism and infect people if they come into contact with it. The report says, “the only way to stop the transmission of the virulent vaccine-derived poliovirus is with an immunization campaign.”

Really? That sounds like they are spreading it more to me.

In July 2019 the WHO, confirmed a vaccine-derived polio outbreak in African and Eastern Mediterranean regions but they say no wild polio outbreaks have occurred since 2016. They recommend continuing the vaccine program.

Why continue to administer polio in a vaccine to children?

Do they not understand what they are doing?

In September 2019 WHO report confirmed a vaccine-derived polio outbreak in the Philippines and they admit that the virus can mutate into a viable version of itself and cause polio but this “can only happen in places with limited immunization coverage and inadequate sanitation and hygiene.”

In August 2020 the WHO reported vaccine-derived poliovirus in Sudan.

If the vaccine worked, sanitation improvements would not be required. Good sanitation is more powerful than vaccines, this is why sanitation improvements were identified as requirements by the WHO in many of their polio publications. The CDC confirm the value of good sanitation when they say, sanitation “contributed to a dramatic decrease in disease across the country” and show a steady decrease in disease from 1908 when the first city received fresh drinking water.

The ability for OPV to cause vaccine-derived polio has been known since the 1960s and has not been used in the US since year 2000. The fact that Bill Gates promoted the use of a vaccine with a universally accepted history of failures to India many years later cannot be denied.

To figure out the extra deaths that can be attributed to Bill gates we have to work out the expected deaths as an average for the previous 5 years (2005-2009).

A 2013 study by John published in the Indian Journal of Medical Research records 2,875 cases of polio for the five year period 2005-2009. The CDC give the case fatality rate as between 2% to 5%. Using these numbers we can expect between 23 and 58 deaths for a two year period.

The study by Rao recorded 116,665 cases of vaccine-derived polio during 2010/11. It is commonly accepted that vaccine-derived polio is twice as deadly as wild polio, therefore, using this data we can extrapolate that during the Bill Gates OPV campaign  between 4% and 10% of 116,665 died. Which is between 4,667 and 11,667 for a two year period.

Furthermore,  in the Vashisht study, it was estimated that 35.2% had residual paralysis meaning that not only did the Bill Gates OPV campaign kill somewhere between 4,647 and 11,609 children but it also left another 41,066 crippled for life.

It is probably these two outcomes, deaths and permanent injuries, that people are quoting as being 47,500 life-changing events.

I am not a judge, but does this make Bill Gates guilty of murder or culpable homicide? That is not for me to decide but science tells us that vaccines did not eradicate polio and the problem left by the OPV campaigns is twice as bad as what existed before those campaigns started.
